"Very poor customer service is an understatement here. My mother dealt with Madeline and has been a State Farm customer for many years without a single claim filed. After an unprecedented tornado came through Cleveland Ohio in August, it leveled many trees and as a result compromised the structural integrity of my parents roof. My mom filed a claim with Madeline to which she told my mother that she will not pay for a new roof as our roof is old. The reason you purchase insurance is for situations like this, not because you want a new roof. After many contractors visited the house and took several pictures, Madeline claimed that the contractors are the ones who tore off the shingles and ruined the roof. Thus is bad business to say the least. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. You don’t want to get stuck with a team that isn’t there for you when they’re needed the most. The thousands we have paid State Farm to insure our property amounted to nothing. If we really wanted to just get a new roof, this conversation would have happened years ago."
